Meets at 4:30 on Tuesdays.  The mission of MTANV is to challenge corporate excesses in our community/nation that undermine democracy, and oppose economic, social and environmental justice.  We aim to awaken and empower the 99% of our population who are harmed by these excesses, by means of non-violent actions.  These are done in collaboration with individuals and organizations committed to the broad causes of Occupy.  At all times we will strive to make these actions creative, fun, and educational.

Our group is open but we have protocol for joining.  Perspective members are asked to attend two meetings as a non-participating observer, then they can ask to join.  We are particularly looking for people of color to join the group.  We also encourage interested people to form new affinity groups, and we are available to help with that process.
