The really great thing about consensus, like juries, is that it gives individualists like me, acting alone, the rare ability to defeat collectivist teams or gangs single handed and with vindictive glee. So on Friday 2/17 I burned my precious gasoline for half an hour to see if I could have fun blocking any stupid or irrelevant OA proposals at the OA General Assembly meeting. Really any action that diverts attention from contraception is sufficiently stupid, but what I really wanted was something as colossally stupid as cleaning up after our abuser, in order to pounce without hesitation. In defense of corporations, the Fortune 500 was years ahead of democratic entities in hiring and defending gays because of their superior, not equal, fertility rate, which saves their employers on child health benefits and parental leave. Thus I fear that an anti-corporate agenda may also be anti gay, or at least a threat to gay employee superiority. |
