OWS Environmental Solidarity Working Group calls for OCCUPY NUKES, a national day of action against the U.S. nuclear weapons arsenal. On August 6th, Hiroshima Day, take action against a part of the war machine–nuclear warheads, which number 10,000–that takes up $7.6 billion of the Obama FY 2012 budget. The 99% have tools to transform this waste and danger into structures that meet our real needs: true sustainability, (true security,) just food production, jobs, renewable energy, affordable housing, education, and economic justice. We awaken in order to do so on August 6.
