The primary role of the Media Working Group is to coordinate communications from Occupy Asheville to the surrounding community. We manage information that is distributed via print, web, video, radio, and other media. We are involved with writing press releases, arranging press conferences, maintaining the occupyasheville.org website, managing livestream feeds, and utilizing social media to advance the goals and message of Occupy Asheville.
